A New Pic by Brett

The Vigil story, Vigil: Never Enough will appear in Ronin Illustrated #3, coming out in February 2008. In the meantime Brett has done a couple of more sketches. Also some of the other artists at Ronin Studios have done their versions of him. Also Vigil will be part of the Ronin Studios 2008 poster.

Page 3

Well Brett has finished the drawing and inking of theVigil story. It runs 11 pages. Now I am looking to find a letterer and then off to publication. Not sure yet where I am going to place the story. I could have it in one of Ronin's anthology books or maybe somewhere else. Still, I really enjoyed workign with Brett on this character. I have several more ideas for Vigil stories so I will have to get to scripting one up very soon.

Another sketch

Brett posted another sketch of Vigil on the Ronin Studios forums. He still is working on the last half of the story. Hopefully we will have more to show soon.

Pulp Vigil

This is a pic done by Brett of Vigil. He describes it as having a 'pulp' feel to it. Thought I would throw this up here to have something new to look at while Brett keeps pushing out the pages of the story.

Finished Page 1 and Page 2

Well here are the finished first two pages. Brett did a great job on them. I love being able to view the comparison from the roughs to the finished pages. Great stuff. I'm not sure if I'm going to have this story done in greyscale or not yet. I really like how Brett uses blacks so I guess I'll wait til all the pages are done to decide.
